Dear Friends,
I
would like to share some bittersweet news with the
people who have been a big part of my life for the last
twelve years. I have decided to retire in 2012. I would
like to thank my friends and customers for all the
support you have given me over the years. Watching the
business grow has brought me much pleasure and
satisfaction. It's time to move on to new adventures in
my life. Being blessed with 5 grandsons makes me want to
spend more time with them and enjoy some time with my
husband, family and friends.
The
shoppe will be open for several months until all gift
certificates and exchanges have been made and to give me
time to sell my inventory. If you know of anyone that
would be interested in continuing the business please
let me know. Otherwise the building will go up for rent.
I will keep you informed of future sales, etc. via
email.
Please note my new store hours:
January 3rd (11am -5pm), January 4th (11am -5pm),
January 5th (11am -5pm), January 6th (11am -5pm),
January 7th (11am - 4pm), January 8th (12pm -4pm)
Starting the week of January 9th I will be closing every
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and open every Thursday 11am
- 5pm, Friday 11am - 5pm, Saturday 11am - 4pm and Sunday
12pm - 4pm

I would like to welcome you to the
Carriage House Collection, a shoppe in Historic Newtown,
Bucks County built in the early 1800' s.
Step back in time and take some time for yourself to
visit us on line, and then stop by and visit in person.
The shoppe is an extension of my home, which I love to
decorate for all the holidays and seasons during the
year. Old houses derive their charm from the richness
and variety of details that old-time builders crafted
with their hands. My husband and I have tried to
maintain that feeling as we restored the shoppe to its
original historical look.
You are encouraged to browse at anytime and take in the
charm and decorating ideas the building and the shoppe
have to offer. A friendly relaxed and calming feeling in
today's world of so much busyness is so hard to find
today. We need to take time for ourselves.
I am excited about keeping in touch with you on a
personal note and hope you enjoy reading about all the
